Alexandria Township will be hosting the Annual Easter Egg Hunt again this year on Friday, April 3rd at Alexandria Park with 4 egg hunts. At 1 PM, kids from 2nd grade and younger can participate in two egg hunts near the pavilion in 2 different age categories (pre-k & under and kindergarten to 2nd grade). At 8PM, there will be another two egg hunts in 2 different age categories. Those in 3rd to 5th grade and 6th to 8th grade grab your flashlights for a nighttime egg hunt near the pavilion. Thousands of eggs will be in each age category along with prizes for those who find the “prize” eggs. This is a rain or shine event.
Important Egg Hunt Rules:
1.) There will be "prize eggs". We no longer do "golden eggs" No one will know which egg will have the winning tickets in them except for the recipient of the egg when they open the egg and see a special ticket.
2.) Parents will not be permitted on the field to assist their child unless they are in the Pre-k and under category. It’s not about getting the most eggs, it’s about the kids having fun. Parents-let your kids have fun on their own-sit back and watch from the sidelines!
3.) The times listed for each egg hunt are when the egg hunts start-not when to arrive!! Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the event to park and walk over to the pavilion. We cannot wait for late arrivals-we have too many excited kids who are watching the clock and are waiting to go!!
