Dead Deer Pick Up

Is there a dead deer or animal on the road or in your yard? If you live on a County Road, you will need to contact the Hunterdon County Road Department at (908) 788-1178. If you live on a Township Road and find yourself in this situation, unfortunately the service we hire will not go on private property to remove the animal. You need to get the animal to the shoulder/curb of the road. Once the animal is at the curb, contact the Municipal Offices either by phone at 908-996-7071 ext. 210 or email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Once our office receives the request, we contact our service to come out to remove the animal. This can take up to 24 hours. Our DPW will not remove the animal or go on private property.
